Papermaking Dryer Cylinder
Dozens of dryer cylinders are placed across a paper machine. The papermaking dryer is a drum-type pressure vessel with rotatable shafts on both ends of the heads, and the steam for drying paper is passed through the inner hole of the hollow shaft at one end.
Design of Paper Dryer
1. There is a bucket containing water in the papermaking dryer to send the condensed water to the other end of the hollow shaft for discharge.
2. The papermaking dryer is generally cast with cast iron and the outer surface is polished.
3. The papermaking dryer utilizes the feature of many graphite sheets in cast iron, which can easily separate the paper blank from the cylinder surface, so as not to cause the paper to be stuck when drying the paper.
